The Position

St John of God Midland Public Hospital is a 307 bed hospital operated under a public-private partnership between the State Government and St John of God Health Care. Providing free medical and surgical care for patients in the east metropilitan and Wheatbelt regions, we provide a comprehensive range of services.

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team of Clinical Nurse Consultants in providing support and care to patients with Diabetes.

As Clinical Nurse, you will provide a high standard of patient care, act as a clinical resource and effectively manage resources to deliver quality patient outcomes in areas of specialty.

The position will be offered on a permanent part-time basis working 45.6 hours per fortnight.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Relevant post registration experience in an acute care setting/relevant environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Well-developed skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
