Our Property Team

Our powerful Australia-wide team is a market leader providing strategic advice to those involved in commercial, industrial, residential or infrastructure investments and development. We work with companies across the sector including real estate investment trusts, management investments trusts, property developers, government departments, construction companies, landlord, consortiums, financiers and subcontractors to proactively address a host of issues that impact real estate project outcomes.

Your role

An opportunity exists for an experienced Executive Assistant within the Perth Real Estate team. This role is a full time contract position for a period of 12 months. The ideal candidate needs to be enthusiastic, proactive, a self-starter and have the skills to juggle a large workload with competing priorities. Real estate experience is desired, but not essential.

Some of your responsibilities will include

  • document preparation (including the use of precedents) and amendments
  • proactive diary management and coordination of travel arrangements
  • file management including opening and closing files, electronic and physical filing
  • end of month billing and reporting and reconciliation of expenses
  • other general administrative tasks

What You Need

To be successful in this role, you will need strong organisational skills as well as a high level of initiative and enthusiasm. In addition to this, you will possess the following experience / attributes
  • at least 3+ years' experience working as a Legal Secretary
  • strong understanding of software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, practice management and other technology systems
  • excellent typing skills with attention to detail
  • ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • a team focus, with the ability to inspire confidence and motivate other group members
  • a strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, industry experts and clients
  • answering calls and monitoring emails
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • excellent communication skills
  • self-motivated with a high level of initiative and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
