DFP Recruitment is assisting our Federal Government client to identify multiple experienced administrators to join their newly created team until June 2022.

The position would perfectly suit someone who is motivated and can think outside the box, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

The Role and Responsibilities

The role will involve assisting a team of case managers with complex claims that require further investigation, collating documentation and high-level communication with internal and external stakeholders as well as meeting KPIs.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Gather and assist with gathering evidence and other information from stakeholders
  • High level phone and written contact with clients, including preparation of letters and reports
  • Providing accurate information on the range of benefits and services provided by the client
  • Responding to incoming mail and electronic correspondence
  • Provide ad hoc support to the broader team as required; and
  • Data entry into an in-house information management system

About You

Effective communication and the ability to build positive working relationships will be critical to your success in this role.

In addition, you will demonstrate the following:
  • Previous experience in administration preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the interpretation and application of legislations as well as working within policy and operational guidelines
  • Highly developed organisation skills, with the ability to think analytically
  • The ability to pick up information quickly and adaptable to change
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Resilience with the ability to handle complex and sensitive enquiries
