About the Organisation:
You will be working at a government mental health service improving the lives and wellbeing of current and former serving Veterans and their families.

About the role:
The Recruitment Officer will support the labour hire recruitment function within the organisation, you’ll provide support to various regions within a centralised recruitment function, managing recruitment activities on behalf of hiring managers as well as on-boarding new labour hire staff.

Your duties will include:

  • Be the point of contact between the Department and all recruitment agencies in relation to all recruitment activities
  • Arrange interviews with recruitment agencies and hiring managers
  • Manage negotiate and drafting of labour hire contracts.
  • Onboarding of new labour hire staff
  • Arrange contract extensions
  • Develop and manage effective relationships with recruitment agencies, labour hire contractors and internal staff members
  • Status reporting to the departments executive.
Skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in a labour hire recruitment position (either public service or recruitment agency) is essential.
  • High level of interpersonal skills, attention to detail & communication skills both written and verbal
  • Willing to undertake a National Police Clearance
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undertake a National Police Clearance
