About the Role
The Asset Project Manager will cover a range of technical and commercial activities in relation to the mobilisation and ongoing operation of solar farm projects. You will ensure that the service meets the agreed standards in the contract, and client expectations, and ensure resources are deployed effectively. This is a client-centric role where you will proactively look for opportunities to improve the value of the Asset as well as where the company can offer additional services.

Role & Responsibilities

To assist the Senior Asset Manager with the project management of mobilisation and onboarding tasks for a new project into the RES Asset Management portfolio

  • Manage all mobilization and transitional tasks to ensure that the project is prepared and ready for operations to the client’s satisfaction, according to the Asset Management Agreement.
  • Set up processes for the delivery of the contractual and legal obligations under the Asset Management Agreements co ordinating the efforts of SME within the RES Asset Management Team
  • Ensure that systems are in place to manage grid connection agreements; O&M agreements; warranties and guarantees; power purchase agreements; and all other agreements and approvals.

  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve the value of the Asset including opportunities where the company can offer additional services.
  • Work closely with other bodies, e.g. Australian Energy Regulator, Clean Energy Regulator to maintain project regulatory compliance.
  • Attend and contribute to Board meetings where required under the contract.
  • Extensive internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Undertake other Asset Management tasks relating to other projects in the RES portfolio as directed by the Senior Asset manager

Skills & Experience
  • Project management experience preferably within a renewables or operations context
  • Australian Renewable Energy or Power Generation experience.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets.
  • Degree or equivalent experience.
