About the Client

The role - once trained:

Working as part of the business development team out of my clients new Sydney office in Alexandria, you will assist in the production and submission of tender responses, quotations and business proposals throughout the full life-cycle, from pre-qualification stage to post submission activities and administration, including:

  • Evaluate tender requirements and complete tender submissions within the required time-frame and in line with company standards and protocols
  • Supporting the general operation of the business development departments
  • Client interaction with relevant bid proposals and tenders
  • Ensure internal compliance to Tender Strategy Assessment Checklist
  • Develop and maintain relationships with specialist contractors and suppliers
  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships with internal and external stakeholders across Asset Ownership and Management organisations
  • Ensure compliance to tender administration processes that have been established
  • Attend weekly WIP meetings and project strategy review meetings as directed
  • Initiate process improvement changes to create efficiencies in the existing tender process

Desired experience and skills:

  • Recently completed a university degree or currently studying part time
  • Possess experience in tendering, bid development, finance, contracts management or high level sales
  • Highly polished interpersonal communication
  • Highly developed written communication skills
  • Ability to analyse and review contracts
  • Highly organised
  • Prioritise demands, work under pressure and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • A willingness to further develop
  • Very strong numeracy skills and writing skills are key requirement
