The Role
Managing and leading our team across our Northern Beaches locations of Hornsby, Chatswood, Ryde and Brookvale, you will be a person who is customer-focused, business-minded, but more importantly someone who challenge themselves and their team to perform at their best on a daily basis. You will monitor and manage business operations to improve performance and efficiency.
As the Manager DES, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to team in delivering sustainable placements for Job Seekers, meets government contractual requirements and achieve operational results.
  • Coaching and mentoring staff to achieve employment goals resulting in excellent performance and a budget surplus.
  • Maintain effective relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including other employment team members, employers and community stakeholder.
  • Apply advanced problem solving & decision-making tools across a wide range of policies, processes & procedures
  • Promote a positive work force and a supportive team culture.
  • Lead and champion high performance across all areas of the business.

**Essential Criteria:

  • Working knowledge of The Disability Services Act and Disability Service Standards.
  • Proven supervisory leadership experience [2+ years] coaching for performance.
  • Demonstrated results focus - ability to meet/exceed agreed performance targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse, plan, negotiate, make decisions and prioritise tasks in line with service delivery demands.
  • Satisfactory background check, including NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check
  • Current NSW Drivers licence (P2 minimum).
