Elements of Byron is an award winning beach front resort nestled on 50 acres of absolute beach front paradise. The role of Food and Beverage Operations Manager is newly created and will work across our Restaurant and multiple outlets. We are looking for a strong leader who may be working as a Food & Beverage Manager in a restaurant or boutique hotel and looking for the next step

Reporting to our Food & Beverage Manager, this hands-on operational role will involve working across all of our Food & Beverage outlets to ensure that service standards are met, and that the guest experience remains at a high level. Working with the F & B Manager you will build a strong, efficient team that is encouraged to cooperate internally and externally. By leading by example, you will drive performance by setting metrics and benchmarks while identifying opportunities for continuous improvements. Your passion for our industry will see you staying up to date with industry trends and innovation, while working with the Training team to identify opportunities for on-going training and team development


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage Manager or Assistant F & B Manager role within a 4/5-star hotel/resort or a venue with multiple food and beverage outlets.
  • Professional qualifications in Hospitality Management highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Experience developing and managing a large team
  • Strong business acumen including demonstrated experience with budgets, revenues, and cost factors.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with clear focus on quality and service standards.
  • Multi-outlet experience - a la carte experience essential.
  • Strong leadership and staff management skills.
  • Excellent grooming and presentation.
  • RSA and RMLV.
