About The Role

McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust.) Pty Ltd are currently seeking a Personal Assistant and Office Manager to join our team in Queensland.

Other Responsibilities Include

  • Responsible for general office coordination, ensuring the induction and integration of new team members is being managed.
  • Provide continuous improvement in efficient ways ensuring all ordersare completed correctly, collate delivery dockets, check invoices against orders and delivery dockets, and prepare for certification.
  • Maintenance of document management and filing systems.
  • Organise travel, accommodation and car hire for staff as required.
  • Provide orientation and assistance to and undertake an administration induction of new site Office Administration staff, via the online induction facilities.
  • Word processing of correspondence, reports, tenders, charts, legal documents and financials.
  • Provide general administrative support to Australian Operations staff.
  • Ongoing development and refinement of company policies and procedure relating to Office Management.
  • Preparation for meetings, catering and presentation aids.
  • Ensure all matters are actioned during the General Manager’s absence.
  • Sorting and distributing incoming/outgoing correspondence.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Working knowledge of Visio and Workbench;
  • Ability to operate with minimal direction, prioritise work requirements and effectively manage time;
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
  • Ability and willingness to exercise initiative, problem solve and manage a multiplicity of issues simultaneously;
  • Have strong commitment to "Home Without Harm";
  • Have valid Australian working rights.
