The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Carpenter to join our Melbourne Building Projects team. This role operates in a dynamic environment and will see you responsible for providing direction on and assisting in the delivery of the daily operations of maintenance and Project building works on nominated customer sites.

Skills and Experience

You will be an enthusiastic person, a team player and will possess the following:

  • A trade qualification in Carpentry
  • Proven industry experience, preferably within a commercial environment
  • A clear understanding an appreciation of OHS&E obligations within the building industry
  • Experience in building refurbishments preferred
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in supervising sub-contractors
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • A keen eye for detail and a can do attitude
  • A current driver's licence
