Job Description Summary

The Compensation & Benefits Business Partner Transactions, Asia Pacific is an individual contributor role with responsibility for supporting the Transactional service lines (Capital Markets, Agency Leasing, Valuation & Advisory, Investment Management) to deliver effective reward strategies and frameworks across the Asia Pacific region.

The Compensation & Benefits Business Partner Transactions, Asia Pacific is a hands-on strategic role to design and implement effective reward processes, programs and variable incentive plans which attract and retain hiqh quality talent to support the ongoing success of the business. This newly created role is also required to proactively partner with Transactional HR Business Partners and Transactional service line leaders to advise, develop and deliver innovative and consistent reward strategies to improve sales effectiveness and enhance our sales culture across the business.

Job Description

Compensation & Benefits Business Partnering and Stakeholder Management:
Partner and collaborate with the business to fully understand requirements and challenges;
Provide consulting support to the Business and HRBPs to ensure that rewards and benefits best practices are upheld and integrated;
Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders. Influence HR and business stakeholders to adopt new ideas and approaches;
Work closely and collaboratively with HRBPs, HR COE and other business support functions (Finance, Marketing & Research, Legal, TDS) to ensure delivery of performance and reward initiatives to meet the business’s expectations;
Ensure that high standards of service are maintained, and continuous improvement is reinforced;
Maintain a working knowledge of all laws influencing compensation and benefits across key markets, as well as stay up to date with key legislation that may impact reward and performance programs.

Performance & Reward Strategy & Programs:
Implement and administer Asia Pacific Reward strategies, sales incentive and benefits solutions for the Transactional service lines;
Provide subject matter expertise, guidance and consulting support in relation to performance and reward best practices to Transactional service line Management and HRBPs teams as required;
Maintain knowledge of current sales compensation best practices, trends and regulatory environments, to understand to the external market and climate;
Prepare market competitive compensation proposals for strategic investment hires.

Drive Reward & Sales Effectiveness
Ensure effective employee incentive & commission communications;
Review and improve commission and profit share performance tracking which determine variable compensation outcomes;
Provide ongoing reward and performance education including targeted initiatives to improve employee and manager comprehension of variable compensation programs and to maximize perceived value;
Identify teams and roles that would benefit from a sales incentive plan, and in conjunction with and under the direction of the Compensation & Benefits COE leadership, develop and roll out appropriate incentive plan(s);
Conduct compensation and benefits studies and analysis for the Transactions service line, such as HR reporting, job evaluations, and benchmarking exercises.

Annual Performance & Reward Process:
Coordinate the Annual Performance and Compensation Reviews and Goal Setting process across the Transactional service lines;
Participate in salary and benefits surveys, analysis of results to calibrate pay bands and to benchmark company’s practices to the market.

Maintain knowledge of best practice and market-leading employee benefits, including conducting research on employee benefits in similar industries and advise on changes/updates to the company’s existing benefits or policies;
Support the build and maintenance of a benefits strategy that is aligned with the objectives of the business plan, is fiscally responsible, market competitive, and supports the attraction and retention of high performing talent;
Apply a data-driven approach on benefit program decisions.

Support ad-hoc project work and provide expertise where necessary.
