Based in Melbourne or Sydney, the Media Insights Director will lead the Commercial Insights function and motivate, guide and manage the team to achieve the broader vision and key metrics. Working largely proactively, with Sales Leaders, Strategy and Data and Insight counterparts, you will drive thought-leadership and insight-led collateral to deliver on strategic Sales goals as determined by Sales Leadership, and undertake projects which drive revenue for SCA, grow the Audio category, and garner insights to improve SCA’s process and output to our Sales partners.

Excellent knowledge of the communications and media industry is key to this role, as is the ability to identify and understand business and communication problems to develop solutions to challenges through the strategic use of insights and data. The ability to think creatively, distill the complex to the simple and the ability to craft a compelling story from data is integral.

As our newest Commercial Insights Director, you WILL:

  • Consolidated experience as a media advertising leader at the executive level.
  • Media Strategy / Planning experience highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred in Marketing, Advertising, Business.
  • Ability to effectively use research and analytics tools e.g., Nielsen CMV, eRam etc.
