Aml Ctf Process Lead

ME Bank - Melbourne, VIC

Source: uWorkin

About the role

As a key member of the Operations Transformation Hub this role will help develop targeted and strategic solutions through process understanding and assessment, reengineering, requirements gathering and subsequent design and implementation across the program as it relates to AML/CTF. That’s right - you get to put your own mark on helping us design and deliver uplifts and change across the AML/CTF ecosystem.

You’ll work very closely with senior delivery managers and relevant senior business sponsors (such as GMs) to ensure design and delivery is match fit whilst assessing the current state to identify and recommend further improvements, then verify, document and validate the resulting requirements.

There’s plenty of autonomy associated with this role and it’s part of an exciting program of work that is enterprise wide, within a long-lived team. With several indirect reports, you’ll have the opportunity to develop in multiple areas, and using industry best practice and experience, design purpose fit end to end processes and uplifts that support the business to achieve their AML/CTF strategic outcomes. Together with the product owner, you’ll also maintain and prioritise backlogs from inception to completion, so if you like to roll up your sleeves and get things done, this could be the role for you.

About you

You’re a true AML/CTF Subject Matter Expert through and through - you have a solid understanding of first and second line risk responsibilities as it relates to AML/CTF and are highly familiar with best practice in all key facets of AML/CTF in our industry, as well as a sound knowledge base of the AML/CTF Act & Rules.

With your extensive experience working alongside, within or with 2nd line risk AML CTF and / or AUSTRAC, you have a vast fundamental understanding of the risk and controls process. You have a demonstrated ability to run, lead and facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders, you’re highly organised and therefore excellent at documenting current state issues, as well as articulating future state change.

You’re an articulate individual, with meticulous attention to detail and combined with your strong communication and leadership skills, this makes you a strong candidate for this rare and exciting opportunity.
