What does the role involve?

This role is in the Digital Analytics team that sits within the Digital & Data Performance team and reports to the Senior Manager - Platform Strategy & Integration.

The role will involve partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and implement the appropriate level of tagging to ensure our digital assets have the necessary tracking to support Australia Post to deliver on our vision to create a simple, easy and more meaningful experience for our customers. The role may also assist in other analytics functions such as optimisation, content recommendations, campaign management and dashboarding.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have

  • Excellent agnostic tag management technical skills, and strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, stakeholder management and expectation management
  • Ability to bring both technical knowledge and business awareness to the role.
What are the key responsibilities?
  • Provide leadership and current best practice tagging/analytics strategies across Australia Post assets
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of digital analytics solution from stakeholder consultation, technical specifications creation, analytics mapping, testing and final reporting
  • Grow and govern our tag management, data layer, analytics setup and data connections to other enterprise platforms
  • Identify and prioritise business requests whilst managing the expectations of stakeholders with lower priority requests
What are we looking for?
  • Tertiary level qualification in business, information systems or extended career experience in relevant disciplines is highly desirable
  • In-depth experience with one or more Digital Tag Management technologies e.g. Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager or a tag manager that comes with a Customer Data Platform, preferably within a large complex enterprise
  • Experience with one or more digital analytics platforms (implementation, reporting, configurations, and classifications) such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Strong experience with standard JavaScript and associated frameworks
  • Experience with defining and maintaining a data layer
  • Able to articulate highly technical concepts and insights in a manner that can be understood by stakeholders of varying degrees of technical literacy
  • Excellent organisational / time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and process thinking combining business acumen
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
