Retail Home Lending Operations is a team of almost 1700 colleagues responsible for the fulfilment, settlement and servicing of all lending products for the Bank.

Our Discharges team supports the end fulfilment of our customer home loan journey with the bank.

Your Impact

Your contribution would include:

  • Helping customers achieve their dreams

  • Being a highly motivated member of the team with self-starter skills and can take accountability when working alone

  • Exceptional time management skills and Exceptional customer service skills (Internal and External to CBA)

  • Exceptional Stakeholder management skills by working with our Frontline teams to ensure customers can achieve their wants and needs in the timeliest manner.

  • Exceptional communication and telephony skills making contact with our customers to deliver updates of Home Loan applications.

More specifically your main duties will include:

  • Providing superior levels of internal and external customer service by responding to, managing and resolving customer and stakeholder enquiries, complaints and issues

  • Undertaking investigations in respect to customer requests and/or as a result of transactional or exception based issues

  • Applying sound risk management practices by identifying and responding to business risks

  • Processing transactions within agreed turnaround times and consistent accuracy in a high volume environment

  • Stakeholder management supporting the Group’s Third Party Relationship Management network and the Group’s internal Home Lender network.

  • Working cohesively within a Team environment to look at Continuous Improvement ideas that will improve the customer experience.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Prior experience in a product or process environment or extensive customer service experience

  • Exposure to the lending process would be highly advantageous (but not essential)

  • Previous knowledge of reviewing Home Loan Documentation and ensuring customer information is accurate.

  • Ability to serve and support multiple customers in your portfolio.

  • Growth mindset with an interest and motivation to continuously learn new skills and develop your capabilities within the role.
