What you'll be doing

The purpose of the position is to provide effective specialist psychiatric health services to patients, whilst undertaking learning and professional development activities with the aim of progressing to become a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team to enhance the assessment and management of those under their care and will have a passion and commitment to learning and education within Psychiatry. The position holder will provide high quality patient care throughout the care continuum, including admission, acute, community or requested emergency department assessment, ongoing reviews, management and discharge planning.

The position is suitable for:
  • Doctors who are currently in RANZCP accredited psychiatry training programs; and
  • Doctors who are eligible to apply for accredited psychiatry training who have not yet but intend to be registered with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) by the start mid- year intake from 2nd August 2021 clinical year.

  • Current NSW Drivers Licence (P2 acceptable).
