To support our growth, we are looking for a Sustainable Mobility Mnager to join our team in Sydney.

The Sustainable mobility Manager plays an essential role in the Innovation team, to support projects that will transition our existing and future bus operations to alternative energies, primarily electric buses and infrastructure, and in the long term hydrogen.

This role supports our existing pipeline of electrification projects and will be liaising and coordinating dedicated electric bus project managers in different states in Australia.

This role will support the delivery of Keolis Downer’s business strategy towards greener mobility.

In close collaboration with the Innovation team, the existing Keolis Downer operations and/or with the bid team, the role is collaborative and team-oriented.

You will design and implement strategic projects and play a key part in positioning Keolis Downer as an innovative partner for PTAs.

This position is located at North Ryde, in Sydney, but due to the nature of the role and national scope, location can be discussed.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Design electric infrastructure solutions and electric mobility options that meet Public Transport Authorities (PTAs) objectives and support the delivery of Keolis Downer’s business strategy.
  • Develop financial models and pricing for sustainable mobility projects
  • Scope, design and support the implementation of electric mobility projects in close coordination with local project managers.
  • Monitor progress on projects to increase best practice sharing, keep track of technology evolutions and collect lessons learnt.
  • Monitor progress, manage reporting and relationships with project teams and partners to ensure we meet our contractual obligation and respect project scopes and timelines.
  • Support the development of new partnerships and relationships with stakeholders and industry partners to identify new projects in Australia and New Zealand
  • Consult with existing Keolis Downer operations to assist them in the implementation of sustainable transport solutions.
  • Support the bid team to design innovation projects that enable to develop compelling proposals
  • Liaise with Keolis Group in Paris to increase best practice sharing and bring international knowledge to solve local mobility challenges

ABOUT YOU:

To be successful in this role you will require:

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate qualifications in electric engineering, sustainability or a related field
  • Previous experience working within a consultancy, electric infrastructure provider, business development team, ideally within the transport industry.
  • Experience working with public transport authorities and partners, designing sustainable mobility solutions, commercial proposals and pricing models.
  • Electric engineering graduates may be considered

Knowledge & Experience

  • A strong understanding of the sustainable mobility market, key players and technologies available, as well as infrastructure and charging options for electric buses.
  • A strong experience working with PTAs to deliver sustainable mobility projects
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with stakeholders, partners and find the right technology solution to solve a challenge
  • Experience developing compelling commercial proposals that meet customer needs while delivering financial value
  • Project management experience
