We are currently seeking two experienced Instrumentation Technicians to work within our Asset Services business.

Reporting to the Services Manager, you will work at various client sites in the Lower and Upper Hunter Regions, Western and Southern coalfields. Ideally you will have experience in industry and looking to build and develop your expertise into a specialised field.


  • Develop and participate in the overall execution of planned and unplanned instrument-based tasks.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repair instrument plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct general repairs and calibration of industrial instrumentation.
  • Ensure that all statutory and organisational operational and safety requirements are always adhered to.
  • Monitor, measure, communicate and report, issues, opportunities, risks, technical deviations and achievements pro-actively in all workplace areas.
  • Logically and systematically solve problems by implementing sound fault finding and fault rectification processes.


  • An experienced Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation Technician with a NSW Electrical Licence and a Certificate III in Instrumentation or a Certificate IV in Instrumentation with extensive instrumentation experience may be considered.
  • A strong commitment to safe working practices with the ability to read and interpret technical drawing and specifications.
  • Computer literate, specifically MS Word and Excel, hold a High-Risk Work licence and a current EWP.
  • It would be advantageous if you had knowledge and experience in radiation, programming and communication systems.
