About the role

The core basis of the role is to provide administrative support to the Operations team to allow their time to be better devoted to the day to day running of the business.

The Facilitator supports our Melbourne Data Centres with various administrative tasks and ensures the facility is well maintained. You are responsible for the management of all site upkeep contracts, which includes annual renewal negotiations, PO processing, invoicing, and establishing relationships with the vendors. Facilitators handle ordering and stocking of food and beverages throughout where required, along with office supply ordering. You will research, plan and execute all internal team events, prepare various managerial reports, assist with the administration of the data centre maintenance systems, prepare monthly external customer reports, manage office administration, support small project works (e.g. office refurbishments), track budgetary spend across key areas, and coordinate Operations related training activities across Melbourne.

The Facilitator will also be required to participate in team discussions and share suggestions and feedback in relation to their campus needs and process improvement opportunities. Ad-hoc travel between our Melbourne Data Centres will be required.

About you

  • Ideally 3 years in an administration role in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate to Advanced level MS Office
  • Experience in purchase ordering ideal, particularly COUPA system
  • High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality
  • Proactive with the ability to work independently or in a dynamic team environment
  • Highly organised and ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work across a range of administrative, project and support activities
  • Strong customer and service-delivery focus
  • Strong written and verbal communciation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Data Centre or IT experience would be a bonus but not essential
