Your Role and Responsibilities

The Customer Success - Technology Deployment Leader (TDL) is tasked with enhancing the client’s understanding of their IBM Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) and the capabilities and value it can provide to their business, as well as working with the client to achieve and measure these outcomes. The TDL will identify, expand and accelerate the deployment of IBM solutions through the relationships they build within their client(s). They are equally a key member of the IBM Client account team, contributing to the planning and activities to transform the client/IBM relationship and assist the client in achieving their objectives. Additionally, the TDL is responsible for the governance and administration of the ELA.

This opportunity is based in Canberra.

You Will Achieve This By

  • Constantly building your relationships with Client stakeholders and users
  • Proactively working with the client to demonstrate how they can derive value from the whole ELA.
  • Working with project sponsors to build and maintain a map of current ELA usage and match unused content to new business needs.
  • Helping the customer access the IBM expertise they need.
  • Organising diverse activities including workshops and road shows to promote the ELA to the customer's line of business managers.
  • Partnering with the customer on contract governance to ensure client priorities are met.
  • Assisting the customer with consumption and entitlement tracking required by the contract.
  • Creating awareness and documentation of processes, software roadmaps and end of support advice.
  • Being a 'go-to' person answering customer questions and providing advice
What skills should you bring?
  • Highly desirable that you have experience and credibility in a Defence & National Security context
  • Demonstrated ability to build and leverage extensive relationships throughout client and vendor organisations.
  • Proven ability and skills in client, project, and problem management.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain a broad understanding of IBM’s hybrid cloud strategy and solutions as well as relevant competitive technologies
  • An active interest in current and emerging technologies
  • Hold Australian Citizenship.
  • Must be eligible to obtain at least NV1 clearance.
  • This is a permanent position with the requirement to be working between client site and the IBM office in Canberra.
