Capricornia School of Distance Education is committed to providing every student with a balanced education in a supportive and caring school environment. Our mission is to support every student to reach their highest potential.

As a school we overcome the challenges created by distance, isolation and student/family circumstance. Education is a team effort, and our school community is like an extended family. It is the extra effort made by the staff, parents, home tutors and students that brings everyone closer together. We believe for the student to achieve the very best they can, there needs to be a 'student's first' approach and a positive relationship between the school and the home.

There is a strong sense of pride within our school community and of the achievements of our students. Our values of accountability, integrity, resilience, respect and positive relationships resonate within the school community and we believe these values also support every aspect of life both within and external to the school.
