  • Prepare and implement all documentation associated with procurement activities f
  • Provide advice and direction in relation to procurement to ensure compliance with Chief Procurement Office policy and procedures. Provide procurement or financial input to reports, briefs and policy as required
  • Actively participate in the testing and implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Provide advice and promote best practice and compliance to staff and senior management in relation to procurement activities, financial accounting, reporting and budget management.
  • Manage and coordinate procurement administration activities from planning through to award phases and subsequent contract management for new contracts and Variation or Extensions for procurement processes and policies.
  • Develop, implement and maintain procurement systems, processes and local practices to assist procurement activity data collection, estimation and tracking using software packages, for example, spreadsheets, databases and presentation packages.
  • Actively participate in personal performance training and appraisal through accepting and providing positive and constructive feedback as well as undertaking training and development opportunities that are identified as necessary to achieve work unit goals, and gain awareness of corporate responsibilities through the appropriate induction processes and participation in relevant programs.

In the role of Temporary Senior Advisor (Procurement) you will provide support and advice relating to the procurement.

You will support the Principal Advisor to provide high level procurement support ensuring integrity and compliance. You will deliver effective procurement, planning and reporting, ensure the integrity and accuracy of contract management, internal controls and provide procurement strategy and contract management advice.
