The Opportunity
The Technical Assistant is responsible for providing timely and efficient support to teaching staff at the same time as performing activities to deliver high standards of customer service to support the effective and efficient delivery of educational programs.

You’ll love this role if you:

  • If you can provide high standards of customer service to internal areas reliant on accuracy and timeliness of stores delivery, preparation, maintenance and control to meet class and other practical activity needs.
  • Able to carry out a diverse range of tasks involving stores, administration, teacher/class support on a daily, scheduled and adhoc basis to efficiently meet required timeframes, quality and compliance standards.
  • Can respond to external and internal client contacts and queries in a professional and courteous manner in busy periods

Reporting to the Staffing Pool Coordinator, this position:

  • Liaises with teaching staff to establish class requirements
  • Sets up equipment and materials for classes
  • Maintains stores, equipment and storeroom
  • Assists in the ordering and purchasing of equipment and consumables

If you have

  • Knowledge in the Fine Arts industry, including Sculture, Print Making Ceramics, Painting, Studio and Gallery set ups.
