Borough Markets is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to help take our business to the next level. This is a unique opportunity for a sales hungry candidate who is looking for their next challenge.

Responsibilities

· Identify partnership opportunities

· New customer acquisition via face to face meetings and over the phone

· Clarifying client needs and consulting on briefs

· Preparing quotes and proposals including digital marketing

· Negotiate and winning new business

· Developing and maintaining strong and trusted relationships with new and existing clients

· Collaborating with internal stakeholders on all levels

· Sales pipeline management and achievement of monthly KPI’s and sales targets

· Providing support and advising customers on solutions

· Ensuring positive customer experiences and satisfaction is achieved at all times

· Recording and reporting on sales activities and outcomes

Qualifications

· Minimum of 5 years prior industry related business development experience

· Experience selling SaaS and / or digital media highly regarded

· Passion for selling

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Proven knowledge and execution of successful sales strategies

· Focused and goal-oriented

· Ability to work autonomously but also be a team player

· Confident cold calling skills and a professional manner

· The ability to convert leads in to sales

· A consultative sales style that builds trust and strong relationships with clients

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills

· Readiness to learn and hit the ground running

· Outstanding organisational, planning and administrative skills

· A collaborative approach
