JOB DESCRIPTION

Key career role for Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join leading Wealth Management organization.

Hands-on role available where you will use your detailed knowledge of client and business data to design and deliver robust data assets and processes which will drive regulatory reporting solutions.

  • You'll consult with stakeholders from across Product, Finance and IT teams, clearly communicating recommendations based on your career experience to shape the data and reporting solution.
  • Use your modelling and engineering skills to solve for complex data requirements, including assessing data quality and where required proposing solutions for issues associated with legacy source systems.
  • Reconcile and de-risk both current and existing processes
  • Work with our IT partners to set-up automated reconciliation/monitoring for any new data sources and any subsequent transformations to ensure robustness and consistency.

Essential

  • This is a doing role, so you'll thrive in a data rich environment, and possess extensive experience using relational databases and analytic tools (SQL, SAS, R or equivalent) to conduct customer & campaign analysis (technical skills will be evaluated as part of the application process).
  • The successful applicant will have extensive experience in analytic consulting and engagement with business or commercial teams with a proven ability to communicate clear and actionable recommendations from analytics, with the ability to digest and solve for tasks which involve a lot of detail

Desirable

  • Financial services experience especially within Wealth Management/ Superannuation & Insurance.
  • Experience of managing and/or mentoring small teams.
  • Experience of Data program through company mergers or separation
  • Experience in data visualisation tools such as Qlikview, Tableau.
