An exciting opportunity has become available within K-C ANZ’s Supply Chain team for a senior Supply Chain professional. This is a key leadership role that will assist with driving continuous improvement of our supply chain planning processes and tools.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director ANZ, the Integrated Planning Manager will ensure the optimal balance between demand and supply, aligned with inventory policy to ensure all customer service metrics can be met.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the overall S&OP, Demand, and Supply teams across Australia and New Zealand

  • Setting the overall level of manufacturing output (production plan) and other activities to best satisfy the current planned levels of sales (sales plan and/or forecasts), while meeting general business objectives of profitability, productivity, competitive customer lead times as expressed in the overall business plan

  • Lead the team to work cross-functionally across ANZ with internal business units to forecast anticipated demand, inventory, supply and customer lead times based on the sales forecast, actual demand and capacity forecast

  • Establish production rates that will achieve management’s objective of maintaining, raising, or lowering inventories or backlogs for the ANZ business

  • Operate in a 24 month planning horizon

  • Work with Kimberly-Clark Global Supply Chain teams to align and implement best practice

  • Lead and review the demand and supply balance at the product family and master schedule levels, determining out-of-balance conditions, identifying alternatives, and recommending action for approval

  • Work with ANZ sales, ANZ Operations, marketing and APAC manufacturing to better understand competitive lead times for master scheduled items. Seek ways to reduce internal lead times as well as lead times to the customer

  • Challenge current manufacturing and sourcing strategies for all product lines to be sure that the best and most customer-oriented strategy is being used

  • Investigate, identify and lead opportunities to move the company to make-to-order manufacturing

  • Conduct rough cut capacity planning prior to publishing a master plan in which significant changes have occurred

  • Be an internal educator and consultant on master scheduling issues, providing education and training throughout the company to improve company-wide understanding of MPS functions

Qualifications and Experience sought

  • Bachelor degree qualifications in Supply Chain, Operations Management or a related field

  • Demonstrated performance of the Integrated Business Planning Cycle in a previous organisation (preferably within the FMCG and or Manufacturing industries)

  • Demonstrated coaching and leadership of people and complex teams

  • Significant experience in S&OP and Inventory management

  • Highly analytic, you will have superior stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Exposure to SAP will be well regarded
