Salary: $55,000.00 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Bourke NSW 2840

Our client is seeking a full time Chef who will be responsible for food preparation and cooking. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service, food safety and be well organised.

Tasks required include:

  • Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
  • Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
  • Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
  • Preparing and cooking food
  • Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
  • Select and train staff.
  • Manage Food safety and Food security.


  • Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma of Hospitality Management
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience as a Cook/Chef.
