About the role

The primary purpose of the role is to assist in ensuring systems for the branch comply with business requirements and solution design. This includes ensuring that the systems align with the branch’s roadmap to enable the delivery of its strategic vision and objectives. You will be a part of a team which works together to redefine integrated transport choices to improve the lives of customers and communities.

 What you would be involved in:

You will implement quality and test assurance solutions that deliver value and meet

system and operational requirements. The role involves working on:

1. All aspects of Ticketing and Account Based systems, Agile Digital Products testing and delivery, spanning both manual and automated approaches

2. Web projects, app development projects, 3rd party integration projects, leading edge digital projects

3. CTP/EMV projects

About you

You are a self-driven, proactive, motivated and autonomous test practitioner with exceptional “Hands on” test experience in the E2E testing space proven by successful delivery of manual and test automation outcomes. Expertise in operating in Agile/Waterfall teams, a fast learner who is looking for new innovative challenges.

In addition, you will demonstrate

  1. Extensive experience testing with Physical devices (including Mobile Apps)
  2. Experience in CTP/EMV Payment systems and/or understanding of Account Based Ticketing systems
  3. Ability to write SQL queries for DB test execution
  4. Deep understanding and testing of API’s and websites demonstrated in recent work experience
  5. Ability to conduct Test Assurance Oversight and Reviews over vendor owned testing activities and artefacts to provide information and inform decision making.
  6. Test automation skills and tools knowledge (highly desirable)
  7. Excellent communication and engagement skills to work alongside Project teams and Vendors at all levels across large complex projects

Transport Service Grade 8 $118,015 – $132,176 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Essential requirements

Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
