About Grounded

Grounded is a new breed of packaging company seeking to change the way the businesses approach sustainability in the packaging industry. We are a hybrid technology and product business looking at the industry with a fresh perspective. 

Having launched in 2019 the business has experienced rapid growth and we are now looking for a marketer to join the team to help shape and execute on our direction and strategy. It is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join a business at a pivotal point in its growth journey. 

About you and the role

We are looking for an analytical and creative marketing professional that lives and breathes the cutting edge of B2B growth marketing but also has a keen understanding of brand and comms. We need a strategic thinker who is excited to roll up their sleeves and become an expert in the space. They will be responsible for driving and unifying customer experience, brand purpose, creative communication, and B2B marketing technology. The role would suit someone eager to learn and take the next step in their career. 

You must be:

  • Brand-focused. We work hard to maintain a specific brand mission, this role needs to have that front of mind at all times.
  • Analytical. The role will have a strong focus on performance marketing and driving key outcomes across multiple channels. 
  • Experimental. We are looking for non-traditional thinkers, tinkerers amd testers
  • Forward Thinking. You don’t only rely on what worked in the past, you prefer to experiment and constantly review strategy and tactics based on the data. 

Additional characteristics and experience:

  • Must be passionate about our mission to change a large, stale industry
  • Must be able to define, measure and report the performance of all paid marketing channels/campaigns and assess against ROI and KPI goals including customer acquisition and retention
  • Needs to be high-performing, hard-working and capable of breaking down complicated information & data into readily digestible and interesting content
  • Thrive in a constantly evolving and changing environment
  • Well organised and be keen to roll your sleeves up
  • Ideally have experience across brand, digital, inbound and outbound marketing
  • Able to see the big picture and understand the longer term opportunity 

In the first six months you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and implementing a marketing strategy that merges proven B2B and modern digital frameworks for customer acquisition
  • Working closely with the founders and creative team to set longer terms strategy and targets across multiple geographies
  • Helping create a tone of voice and regular cadence for customer communication
