Job Description

How will I Help?
As the Manager Projects and Product Change , you will be joining the Projects, Governance and Communication team within WIB (Westpac Institutional banking), Portfolio & Change Business Unit. You will manage and implement a subset of projects and product change initiatives impacting Institutional Banking Services ensuring sound change management practices, reduced operational risk, successful delivery, and positive commercial and customer outcomes for Westpac Group, Westpac Institutional Banking and Institutional Banking Services.

This role will be focussed on Enterprise and divisional change. You will Assess the impact of change to Institutional Banking Services operational teams, documenting the scope, key requirements, areas of impact, risk and compliance and business commercial outcomes. You will manage and coordinate the delivery of change through engagement with business stakeholder and Subject Matter Experts

What do I need?
You will have demonstrated experience in managing and achieving results in complex change projects ideally relating to technology solutions and/or business processes in a complex banking organisation. Tertiary qualifications in business or technology highly desired along with qualifications in project management such as Certified Practicing Project Manager (via AIPM) and/or Project Management Professional (via PMI) accreditation.

You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent stakeholder management and proven experience with Continuous Improvement initiatives. You will come from a banking and finance background with experience working in a fast-paced environment and with exceptional organisational skills.
