This is a 12-month fixed term contract

How will I Help?
As the Business Manager for Cash Services you will be providing support and advice to the Executive Manager for Strategic Cash Solutions & Services. You will be responsible for the co-ordination/management of business performance, data analysis, operations and governance, communications, processes, and projects associated with the goals of the SCSS Team. This role will involve building relationships across all areas of the business and the broader Westpac Group, influencing activities and programs to suit the needs of the business.

For Business performance & Data analysis you will manage requests for and report for business performance, supervise the progress of key strategic projects and implement a business plan across the team, collaborate to submit responses, papers and presentations, co-ordinate and lead the implementation of Finance structural optimisation, perform data analysis, review process improvement projects and month-end business management reports.

For Operational & Governance you will expense management including forecast and approvals, manage the team’s annual expense base, review monthly accruals, and prepare quarterly and yearly financial forecast and planning, financial management and control, oversee accounts receivables and reconciliations of all payments, review expense reports, and maintain the organisational chart and FTE position.

What do I need?
You will have prior experience as a Business Manager with a Degree in Business/ Finance related discipline and 8+ years’ experience in operations or another relevant professional speciality. You will have strong stakeholder management dealing with stakeholders at an Executive Management level and you will be able to build effective relationships and assimilate information quickly. You will have high level analytical problem-solving skills with a very strong delivery focus, extensive business and industry knowledge. Your planning and organisational skills will be strong and you will have an excellent understanding of the business and it’s needs. You will have experience coordinating special projects and analysing business areas to identify improvements to processes systems & Procedures. You will have sound project management skills and good service provider management skills.
