Salary Range $80,016 - $87,135 pa + 9.5% Super + RDO

(As of 1 July 2021: 2.5% EBA increase and Super Guarantee increases to 10%)

The Opportunity

Its an exciting time in Melton’s People and Culture team. In this role, you will partner with managers to design effective recruitment and attraction campaigns. You will be responsible for managing the end to end recruitment process including the on boarding of new employees and the provision of advice and support to hiring managers.

We are seeking a person who is highly organised, self-motivated, has great attention to detail and enjoys working within a busy environment and a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage the end to end recruitment process, coaching hiring supervisors throughout the process to deliver a consistent, positive and timely completion of recruitment assignments
  • Investigate, utilise, and tailor alternate attraction strategies for hard to fill / niche roles. This may include partnering with tertiary providers and education institutions to create pathway and graduate programs
  • Drive inclusive and diverse recruitment strategies, for example traineeships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders or recruitment actions arising from associated Council action plans
  • Prepare, evaluate, interpret and report on data, such as recruitment statistics or exit interview data, and provide recommendations for improvements
About You

To be successful in this role you will have the following:
  • Extensive demonstrated experience managing simultaneous and complex recruitment campaigns
  • Have experience working with technology and social media platforms as it applies to recruitment
  • Have the capability to develop strategies to fill hard to fill roles, be an excellent communicator and demonstrate the ability to work with people at all levels of the organisation
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or relevant discipline or substantial People and Culture experience working in a similar role
