Chugg Music is an award-winning music company dedicated to the development of remarkable Australian and New Zealand artists, spanning artist management, two record labels, label services, merchandising, and music publishing. Founded by Michael Chugg and Andrew Stone in 2012, the company’s artists have been awarded multiple ARIA Awards as well as international gold and platinum records. 


An opportunity currently exists for a Touring Coordinator to join our team. This position is an ideal first step up from entry-level for the right candidate, supporting the Head of Touring and working across the broader Chugg Music team to provide essential production and marketing support for our artists' live performances, events, and touring activities. This role offers the right candidate an outstanding learning opportunity in a growing, multi-faceted music company. 


Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Work with and support the Head of Touring to effectively plan live events and artist tours, and coordinate touring logistics across the Chugg Music roster. 
  • Coordinate logistics, production and bookings as required relating to artist roster touring and performance schedules and book associated travel. 
  • Complete post event/tour analysis, and assist in the administration and reconciliation of event and tour budgets.
  • Cover key events and shows as required - obtaining credentials, organising meet and greets, handling ticket buys and guest lists etc. 
  • Work with the Marketing Team and Head of Operations to execute across tour and event marketing plans as needed, including online strategy, fan engagement and advertising/promotion.
  • Ensure information associated with the managing, promoting/marketing, ticketing and running of events and tours is gathered and disseminated to necessary parties.
  • Create and distribute tour marketing assets as needed to all relevant internal and external teams, including promoters and venues.
  • Track ticket counts for artist tours and events on an ongoing basis and work with internal marketing team and external partners (promoters, venues, publicist, etc.) to support softer dates and drive ticket sales.
  • Complete tour and event-related grant applications and handle other administrative duties as they arise.


Ideal qualifications/competencies/skills:

  • 1-2 years' experience in the music business, a focus on touring & event production, marketing, and/or promotion is highly preferred.
  • Must be adept in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with Asana is a plus.
  • Basic graphic design skills and some experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, etc. desired.
  • Ability to focus and work well under pressure, good judgment and discretion in sensitive situations.
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills. 
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. 
  • Basic financial budgeting and modelling experience a plus.
  • Support colleagues by sharing information, knowledge and skills.
