Adecco are seeking an enthusiastic 1st year Apprentice Fitter & Turner for an opportunity based on site in Laverton. This position will allow the successful applicant to complete a formal qualification in Certificate III in Engineering - Fitter & Turner, 4 year duration.

You will work with highly skilled supervisors and tradespeople to receive hands on learning and develop skills to maintain various plant and equipment. Tasks throughout the apprenticeship include but not limited to completing all replacement & repair of all production and facility components as required; proven ability to handle most maintenance fitting tasks: overhaul, replacement & repair of mechanical components such as conveyors, gear boxes, chains, sprockets, bearings, drive shafts, motors, castings and all mechanical production components; ability to fault find.



  • Drivers licence (preferred)
  • Certificate II Pre Apprenticeship (preferred)
  • Good Mechanical aptitude
  • Eager and willing to learn
  • Excellent attitude towards safety
  • Physically fit with the ability to undergo and retain fitness for work (including Drug & Alcohol)
