Finance Manager Woolworths Facilities Management

Woolworths Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager who will lead a team to drive and deliver insights to the facilities management business. Reporting into the Head of Finance, and business partnering with the General Manager - Woolworths Facilities Management, the successful candidate will understand the cost levers across energy, waste, recycling, cleaning trolleys and Repairs and Maintenance but also offer insight as to what choices a business can make each year to delight customers while also steward great financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of Woolworths Facilities Management strategy with financial accountability, data interpretation, cost management and accurate forecasting
  • Report and analyse capital spend, annual budgets, CAPEX / OPEX and integrated IRR learnings to influence business outcomes
  • Oversee, coach and develop a team of 4 to deliver great outcomes for business partners but also grow their careers
  • Develop and deliver business cases to stakeholders and senior leadership that are strategically aligned
  • Desire to learn and adjust to new concepts, ways of working and technology


Skills, Experience And Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar management role within a matrix-style, complex retail or FMCG environment highly regarded
  • Degree qualification in Finance or related discipline with CPA / CA accreditation desirable
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation expertise with experience in similar cost management environments
  • Experience with workforce management and planning balancing between qualitative and quantitative outcomes
  • Genuine passion for Corporate Sustainability with ability to coach and mentor at various levels
