Your Opportunity

We are thrilled to have partnered with one of Australia's leading retail organizations to recruit for their newest addition to the team.

This position will offer you the opportunity to get involved with a high level of engagement with the broader Banking & Finance team. You will be responsible for supporting a number of retail stores across the banking and cash audit function. Essentially, you will be the main team member responsible for reconciling bank accounts, payments and looking after month-end duties. You will also have the opportunity to gain insight and support the Accounts Payable team across both Australia & New Zealand. In addition, this blended role will see you be involved with journals and reporting.

Your duties will include:

- Daily downloading bank data

- Uploading data into Navision

- Daily reconciliation of multiple bank accounts

- Creating invoices

- Assisting our Australian and New Zealand store enquiries received via phone and email

- Receiving payments

- Journals

- Mail collection

- Month end duties including but not limited to Balance Sheet Reconciliations

- Supporting and assisting the Accounts Payable General Team

To be considered for this position you will have experience in a similar role and are a team player who doesn't mind picking up a few extra tasks to better the daily operations.

Your Skills & Experience

  • At least 4 years' experience, ideally with exposure to working with multiple entities
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Navision (ideally)
  • Extraordinary ability to multi-task and attention to detail are critical
  • Great communication and ability to engage with queries of the phone.
