The Role

The Finance Business Partner/Group SIL quote Manager will join an established team and will be responsible for producing high quality financial & strategic analysis whilst establishing a new function of business partnering whilst managing several key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

A high-level summary of responsibilities would include;

  • Undertake scenario analysis and influence strategy and planning
  • Assume responsibility for the annual budget process
  • Develop tools, models and procedures with various stakeholders
  • Provide financial advice to the wider business
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with direct reports, members of the finance team and stakeholders within the wider business

This will be a highly visible role within the structure, and you will be required to demonstrate an understanding of the objectives that the company is aiming to achieve. This role will also assume responsibility for the team Supported Independent Living (SIL) quite management function. Managing a team of one, you will be responsible for the management and production of a high volume of NDIS quotes, providing analysis in trends and issues within this function and providing guidance and advice in improvements.

Your Profile

You will be a CA/CPA (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years, ideally with experience gained in a Big 4 firm, a mid-tier firm or a large corporate organisation. Prior experience in Healthcare or a working understanding of the NDIS would be desirable but not essential.

You must demonstrate a strong understanding of complex financial models and be able to translate these for non-finance stakeholders. Your desire to understand and solve problems will be key to success in this role and an eagerness to add value will be essential. A high EQ and outstanding communication skills will be key to your success.

A strong understanding of finance systems and reporting tools will mean that you are well placed to advise on improvements and optimisation. As a result, advanced MS Excel skills are essential.
