Responsible for leading and managing the People and Systems Team of the Billing Services Centre (BSC) to achieve the BSC objectives of maximising billing and revenue capture for the LHD and other key stakeholders the BSC conducts billing services for. This will be achieved through high levels of communication, maximising the efficient use of Patient Billing and Revenue Collection – Australian Edition (PBRC-AE) and related systems and supporting BSC staff and other key stakeholders to develop efficient and effective processes.

  1. Demonstrated experience in managing technical teams and technology projects.
  2. Demonstrated experience in performance improvement and the delivery of training packages or managing the delivery of training packages.
  3. Demonstrated strong leadership skills to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, and lead change.
  4. Extensive knowledge of contemporary issues in management including financial, human resource and organisational management.
  5. Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  6. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, and other key stakeholders.
  7. Demonstrated experience in planning and evaluation at strategic and service levels.
  8. Current drivers licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
