ABOUT THE ROLE

The Directories and Messaging Engineer is responsible for managing all aspects of enterprise directories and messaging tools including daily operations, maintenance and upgrades to meet optimal functioning and security standards.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking an experienced IT professional, as the subject matter expert on messaging who is passionate about supporting all aspects of enterprise messaging services and serving as the technical lead with the capability to deliver, design and implement solutions for upgrades & migrations. You enjoy building collaborative relationships to design technical solutions and address business requirements aligned to industry best practice as a response to customer needs.

With your expertise in a similar role of managing and supporting an enterprise messaging system, your holistic approach and understanding of the potential impact on business operations enables you to identify risks and take appropriate corrective and preventative measures.

Reporting to the Messaging Engineer Lead, this role will give you the opportunity to be part of a world class education provider. You will make a lasting impact on your stakeholders with your high-level communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving and organisational skills.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.

  2. Demonstrated experience effectively managing and supporting messaging systems including daily operations, maintenance and upgrades.

  3. Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description

HIGHLY REGARDED

  • High level PowerShell scripting capability

  • Demonstrated experience in Office 365 email solutions

  • Experience in working in a geographically dispersed team

WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE

This position offers a base salary range of $110,065 - $121,490 p.a plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
