We are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to work in our Private Hospital- Day Rehabilitation alongside a full time Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist and other part time allied health professionals.

Your main Duties will include:

  • Provision of high quality, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions based on sound clinical reasoning following comprehensive assessment
  • Provision of individual and group therapy sessions
  • Completion of discharge summaries adhering to set timeframes

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:

Essential

  • Full Occupational Therapist Registration with AHPRA
  • Clinical experience in working within a rehabilitation framework – Neurological, Orthopaedic, Reconditioning (outpatient)
  • Effective multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Evidence of relevant professional development and commitment to evidence based practice
  • Excellent time management and self-organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience working in Private Hospital setting – inpatient and outpatient
  • Experience in Oncology Rehabilitation, Complex Neuro Rehab
  • Experience in quality activities
  • Interest in clinical research and student supervision
