We are seeking experienced reform and process improvement professionals to join our Grant Management team within Department of Regional NSW (DRNSW).

In the role of Manager Regional Grants, you will lead and coordinate to operationalise the DRNSW grants administration fund framework, by working with Groups and Divisions to establish governance and risk management practises which are accountable, measurable and sector leading. The role is responsible for delivering initiatives to build and streamline administration processes for grants across the cluster and the broader NSW government. 

You will also develop and evaluate the implementation and outcomes of these frameworks, as well as promote business improvement opportunities and implement a continuous improvement process to inform decision-making. 

As a senior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to support and shape the DRNSW grant function and propose initiatives that ensure we continue to add value across the Department.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will be a highly motivated and experienced change professional with a strong ability to lead, negotiate and provide effective solutions. It is essential that you have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to effectively monitor your own and your team’s workload to ensure competing priorities are balanced and delivered within tight timeframes. A sound understanding of grants management processes, or the ability to quickly gain a working knowledge of government processes and legislation will be highly regarded.
