About the role

As the Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will be working as part of as multi-discipline team responsible for digital product definition, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement. You will be responsible for converting user/business and process requirements into functional requirements and/or technical specifications. You will be contributing to the build and deployment of high quality, reliable, reusable and maintainable code and provide technical expertise and advice.

This is a dynamic role which will provide the right incumbent an ability to grow and develop their skills further and position with time to move into a Technical Architecture role.

Essential requirements of the role

Qualifications in a relevant area and / or demonstrated professional experience in an equivalent role.

Desirable requirements

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience working across a range of web, server, database, and integration languages and technologies, such as Angular, MuleSoft, .NET, NodeJS, Java
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Low-Code Application Platforms such as OutSystems or Pega.
  • Strong ability to craft and tune complex SQL statements
  • Experience in the use of Atlassian products, Jira, Confluence

About you

In addition to meeting the essential requirements, you will have a strong ability to consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including vendors to drive outcomes within cost and timelines. You are an experienced Technical BA looking to grow your skills and experience in the application architecture field.

You will also have experience in:

  • Conducting investigative work to identify appropriate and practical solutions which meet the needs of the business, align to enterprise standards, and ensure that the team can deliver outcomes.
  • Producing quality technical specifications and or user stories that are insightful, clear and succinct.
  • Developing functional documentation, facilitating change, supporting testing and resolving problems as they occur.
  • Facilitating workshops and design sessions
  • Engaging with stakeholders in order to understand and elicit requirements and translate business requirements into specific functional and non-functional specifications.

Experience in analysis of legacy systems and deriving value from them, Cloud experience & SQL will see you shine in the role.
