The Role

QSuper’s Technical Advice team currently have multiple opportunities for driven

Superannuation Specialists

(known internally as Technical Specialists) to join their Superannuation Advice and Escalations team on a permanent basis.

Your key accountabilities will include managing tasks and responsibilities in the key areas of internal dispute resolution, escalated superannuation enquiries, and/or death benefit assessment. You’ll use your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct research into developments in the superannuation industry to provide clear, concise, and accurate information and support to key stakeholders, members, and other parties as required.

You’ll develop relationships with stakeholders and maintain awareness of developments in the superannuation industry. You will demonstrate a high level of integrity at all times and contribute to the due diligence program to ensure information is complete and technically correct.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

The ideal

Technical Specialist

will demonstrate some or most of the below:
Demonstrated experience in the superannuation industry or similar industry desirable;

Demonstrated professional behaviour and presentation;

Demonstrated desire and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment;

Investigative nature;

Proven experience or demonstrable ability to work successfully within a team in a high volume customer service work environment;

Strong knowledge and understanding, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the superannuation or related industries and legislation;

Demonstrated ability to analyse complex problems and provide appropriate solutions that effectively address and balance both customer and business needs.
