The role: 


Based in Alexandria/Mascot we are hiring a Global Head of Sales who will drive the rapid expansion of 5B solutions into target markets and achieve company strategic sales objectives.

You will lead a global team of Business Development Managers, currently a team of 5 but expected to grow over time.


Key Deliverables:

  • Exceed sales targets in all target markets
  • Build strong C-level relationships with large global partner accounts
  • Lead commercial negotiations globally
  • Coach and mentor a high performing sales team with focus on exceeding sales and building the sales disciplines that lead to success in the market
  • Define, measure and deliver on sales operational metrics; maintaining 3 x sales budget in sales pipeline, forecast within 10% accuracy, maintain the customer information in the CRM and ensure these same disciplines are fostered consistently amongst your team
  •  Prepare dashboard reporting and weekly updates for Executive team
  •  Build and manage strong internal relationships across all functions at 5B

Are you the Allstar we are searching for?


You will be degree qualified in engineering or a science related discipline with an MBA. You will have at least ten years experience in sales consulting or commercial function with proven experience in leading a global team to success.


You will have had some exposure to technical sales in the power generation industry preferably in renewables, and have proven experience in selling complex SAS with large global partners/customers.


Your leadership style is inclusive, highly collaborative, and with excellent verbal and written communication skills.


You are resilient with a can do attitude, agile with a proactive mindset and have superior influencing and emotional intelligence capabilities to bring people together. You are bold and winning business is your superpower.
