Full Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Production Process Operator to join our team in Gladstone. Based at Fisherman’s Landing, the Production Process Operator position ensures a sustainable operation of the manufacturing plant. This is a shift position on a 12 hour rotating roster working collaboratively within a shift team. Operation of production assets and critical plant checks, working within site procedures and ensuring safety, environment, quality and production targets are met are key to this position.

You will be a pivotal part of a safety culture, leading from the front and driving continuous improvement which includes taking part in SHE training, work instruction development and challenging the status quo in a positive manner. You will be delivering on our commitment to add value for our business and customers.

About the role:
In this role you will:
Adhere to all industry, Cement Australia and regulatory requirements in regard to safety, environment and compliance
Deliver shift quality control requirements through executing process sampling & laboratory testing responsibilities for all products
Work with the Central Control Room Operators and other team members in your shift team to respond to operating plant issues, and ensuring plant delays are minimised
Interact with other teams, including Mine and Maintenance teams to meet production requirements
Use your knowledge & understanding of plant operations to identify and pre-empt potential problem areas
Be exposed to physically demanding environments and tasks, including hot work

About you:
You will ideally have:
Experience in heavy manufacturing environment
Process sampling & laboratory testing experience in cementitious materials manufacturing
Experience in isolations and permit issuing systems
High Risk Licence - Forklift
Strong safety focus and problem solving abilities
SAP system knowledge
Assessor skills set
Ability to diagnose faults and identify potential solutions
Good communication skills
“Can do” attitude
