About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for several team members to join Mater as Door Greeters. The position will be casual and start NEXT WEEK!

The purpose of this position is to provide an efficient and effective and professional service for customers, patients and staff of the Mater Health Services through the supervision of our doors.

Salary range: $26.51-30.77 (MCA2) per hour plus superannuation

What you’ll be doing

In this position you will be responsible for the following:
First point of contact for all visitors and staff to Mater buildings
Monitoring the COVID check in process of all visitors before they enter the building
Develop and maintain good knowledge of Mater Services, locations, personnel and information necessary to deal with inquiries customary to a forefront position
Participate in quality improvement activities including the development and maintenance of procedures relevant to the area and education and training activities
To contribute to and maintain an efficient, productive and positive workplace and communicate and co-operate with fellow workers to promote team work within the department
Attend/participate in regular, both singular and work team meetings to review current work practices and participate in appropriate developmental courses

Previous customer service experience
