ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market, and the largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be a bubbly, well-rounded and motivated administrator (or equivalent) who is keen to provide assistance to the maintenance team in support of the operations and growth.

You will have the ability to develop your skills further in a fast paced and busy coal operation.

The role is suited to someone who can efficiently and effectively perform all administrative related tasks within set timeframes unsupervised as well as build and maintain relationships.

The role is initially for 6 months, however there may be a possibility to extend for individuals who demonstrate a passion for upholding their key value.

This is a 7/7 day shift only administration role on a mine site outside of Moranbah - RARE! Apply Now!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Use your energy and problem-solving abilities to provide generalist administrative support to the operations across a full range of activities, including but not limited to.

Purchasing (Requisitions)

Meeting coordination and minutes

Records, timesheet and data management

Provide high level support to the operations

Coordinate sourcing and backfill of labour hire

General administration, reporting and communications

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Ability to work in a dynamic mine site environment.

Prior experience in administration and / or human resources together with the relevant qualifications to support the practical application.

Detail orientated with ability to work as part of a high performing team.

High level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels.

Have an absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards, and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential.

Coal Board Medical or willing to obtain

Standard 11 or equivalent or willing to obtain

Cert IV or Diploma in Human Resources Management OR

Cert IV or Diploma in Business Administration or Business Management
