Strategic Planning Officer

Permanent, full-time

Salary: $71,093 - $84,542 per annum + 10% super (rates effective 1 July 2021)

The City is seeking a suitably qualified, motivated and capable town planner to join its strategic planning team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the many special attributes of Fremantle, and to pro-actively plan for its continued evolution. The position reports to the Manager Strategic Planning and will require you to provide support in the delivery of a wide range of planning functions including:

  • Scheme review and management
  • Policy development and review
  • Structure plan and local development plan assessment
  • Masterplan and project delivery
  • Community engagement and information provision.

A degree in Urban and Regional Planning, or similar is a requirement of the position.
