Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Operator join a tight knit, like minded group of people whose mission is to “make tasks safer, more efficient and less labour intensive by the use of mobile plant equipment.”
The Opportunity
As the Mobile Plant Operator you will be responsible for operating a variety of mobile plant machines in and around our Rail Network The roster for this role is ten days on four days off. Plant types include but are not limited to:
  • Truck/ trailer combos
  • Excavator (tracked/wheeled and with rail guidance)
  • Front end wheeled loaders
  • Backhoes, skid steers, graders and rollers
  • Road rail vehicles
  • Rail machinery
About You
To be successful in this role, we would like you to have the following attributes:
  • Demonstrated commitment to Arc HSE management system
  • Experience or aptitude in the operation and maintenance of the above plant
  • Knowledge of track rail infrastructure and safety principles (or on a training path)
  • Relevant rail qualifications such as Certificate II or III in Rail Infrastructure (or on a training path)
  • Basic computer skills
  • First Aid and CPR certificate
  • HR licence with a view to acquire a HC licence
  • Applying our mission parameters in all of our tasks
  • Become a subject matter expert and train others
