Personal Assistant, Bankwest Digital

Your Team:

Bankwest's Technology & Transformation Division develops and executes all IT change and runs all IT operations within the organisation; ensuring the strategic leverage of technology to deliver the Bankwest strategy. With the largest IT function in Western Australia, the Division works on a wide variety of technologies and projects with the support of a dedicated team and the Agile methodology. Your Role:

To be successful in this role you do not have to have necessarily have had prior PA/EA experience, but just the ability to be able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and engage with stakeholders. Reporting to General Manager Software Engineering and General Manager Strategy Agility your responsibilities will be as follows but not limited to:

  • Provide efficient, professional delivery of administrative, secretarial and business support

  • Diary and inbox management – scheduling meetings, managing correspondence and ensuring an effective use of their time. Ensuring daily packs are prepared for manager to review prior to meetings

  • Providing superior and executive level of support to the team – maintaining a professional approach at all times (both internally and externally) and a high level of confidentiality

  • Reconciliation of monthly invoices and expenses for the team ensuring adherence to policies

  • Coordinating internal/external meetings with clients/stakeholders – including liaising with EA’s and arranging meeting room bookings

  • Arranging events/functions/offsites/team building events (including catering where required)

  • Participation in Leadership Team meetings – coordinating agendas/minute taking

  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.

  • Superior skills in Microsoft Office, particularly in preparing presentations

  • The ability to manage workflow, priorities, work well under pressure and be flexible

  • High level of professionalism – face to face, over the phone and through correspondence

  • Self-motivated individual, who displays a pro-active style, has exceptional attention to detail and an inherent desire to provide excellent customer service.
